How To Help

It's an UNDENIABLE truth – we ALL have bodies and we ALL need healthcare!

It's been estimated that more than 123 people die every day due to little or no access to the healthcare they need. Your donation will help support DUH's mission to educate, engage, and empower patients, providers, candidates, legislators, and voters to unite and achieve a healthcare system that serves everyone equally from birth to death, regardless of health or wealth.

We've been Demanding Universal Healthcare since 2011 and we chose not to become a 501(c)(3) organization specifically so we can endorse true Progressive candidates and legislation, so please be aware that your donation will NOT be tax exempt, just like political donations are not. But now, just like the 2020 campaigns of Bernie and AOC, Rashida, and Ilhan, and hundreds of hopeful Progressive candidates who will run for the first time, some money is needed to continue and expand our work.

We have one more-than-full-time and two dedicated-but-part-time volunteer staff members and desperately need someone who can handle maintaining the website, especially once the candidates start reaching out, and our Communications Director Josh needs to make enough to be able to quit driving a FedEx truck! There are also travel expenses to be covered so DUH can be present at conferences, demonstrations, meetings with legislators and speaking opportunities that we've had to miss.

You can donate here or via your PayPal account and we also welcome your individual contributions in any amount. Checks made out to DUH NFP can be mailed to DUH, 517 S. Park Ave., Springfield, IL 62704.

Thank you in advance for your contribution to DUH and to the movement. We would like to give extra thanks to those who put their money where their mouths are with both their courageous actions and their financial investment!
